The PCIJ’s information website is a one-stop portal on Philippine politics and government Launched in 2001, it initially carried data not readily available about members of the House of Representatives.

Today the site provides easy-to-read databases containing the following information about the members of the 9th to the 12th House of Representatives: personal data, education, career, political affiliations, legislative performance (bills filed), business interests, campaign expenditures, and relatives in government. Similar data for Cabinet officials, governors, and mayors will soon be available on the site. Information on the legislature will be updated to include how legislators spent their pork barrel funds.

The site also has sections intended to educate citizens on issues like the structures of government agencies, the assets of officials, and local budgets. It provides a quick guide to getting information from government and tips on how citizens can assert their right to information.

Original documents not ordinarily available to the public — such as government reports — are regularly uploaded.
